Food and Maintaining A Long Term Healthy Relationship

I have had quite a tumultuous relationship with food my entire life. If I look at food, I gain weight and sadly this isn’t even a joke. Throughout my teens at my peak I was a size 14 and it was so difficult to find what worked for me. At 32, I am the healthiest I have ever been. I strongly do not believe in diets but lifestyle choices, it is easier to commit long term and you are so much less confined! I changed my thought process from punishment of being “on a diet” to what I put in my body is how I maintain my health. The 80/20 rule is key in pretty much everything. I eat super clean 80 percent of the time and then I am ready for pasta and cake when it is worth it! Life is meant to be enjoyed and it should be!
